From Desire to Desirelessness

For desire’s fulfilment, we plead with God earnestly,
In this process we fall in love with Him undoubtedly, 
Love with desire replaces love without desire gradually, 
Once this love engulfs us, fear of fall vanishes fully. 

Sage Sandilya embodied this love in these words surely:
 ‘Intense God attachment is love of highest devotion truly’,
 Prahlad says Lord is enticed to you with same intensity,
 As of a worldly person’s attraction to the world plainly.’

 It looks as if Prahlad has said something rather ordinary,
 But we shall see its significance if we can think deeply, 
If we can love God the way we love parents sincerely,
 Then God-realization won’t be far from us unquestionably.
