I Am God

Without a guru you do not achieve what you want fully,
I am God or aham brahmasya – is understood slightly, 
Vashishta was considered an aham brahmasya yogi, 
And Sage Vishwamitra was considered a `hatha yogi’.

 Both tried to practice themselves without guru truly, 
But did not achieve peace even with all their sincerity, 
They had to perform tapas to attain their goal finally,
 Vashishta obtained Shiv, Vishwamitra – Sankar lastly.
